The following gives details of the format for usernames, passwords and security words:
Usernames
These are restricted to letters, digits and underscores. They are not case sensitive but we recommend that only lower case characters are used to avoid confusion. Max length of 30 characters.
Passwords
These are not limited and may contain any kind of character (all letters, numbers, and symbols). Passwords are case sensitive and subject to the site specific password policy. We recommend that passwords do not contain any regional or unusual symbols as these may not always be accessible on all computers you might use or may have different character codes on different operating systems. Passwords have no maximum length.
Security Words
These are limited to letters (A-Z) and numbers (0-9), and are not case sensitive. They must be between 6 and 20 characters long and have at least one number and one letter.
